The Battleship New Jersey will offer two opportunities to view the fireworks over the Delaware River on New Year’s Eve, the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders said on Friday.
The ship opens to the public at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31 for the 6 p.m. fireworks and at 10 p.m. for the midnight fireworks.
Cost is a $10 per person donation to the Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial, a non-profit historic ship museum.

The ship is also hosting dinner and breakfast in the crew’s mess, tours the ship and an opportunity to sleep in the bunks for $72 per person.

It is one of a number of events taking place in South Jersey for New Year’s, according to bestofnj.com.
Robin’s Nest Restaurant in Mount Holly is offering as New Year’s Eve dinner with live music with Joe Strazz on sax and George Vanderbilt on guitar and an al a carte menu. Cost is between $19 and $30.
Collingswood will host the New Year’s Eve Kids Kazoo Parade on Dec. 31, 4:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The parade begins at 4:15 p.m.
Playdrome in Cherry Hill hosts a pair of Family New Year’s Eve bowling sessions. The first session is 1 p.m.-4 p.m., with a $99.99 fee. The second is 5 p.m.-9 p.m. with a $134.99 fee. Up to six bowlers are permitted on a lane at a time.
Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford will host three New Year’s Eve celebrations.
