Young Man Killed Fellow Teen In Camden: Prosecutor
Officers found the 19-year-old shooting victim on the ground last month, authorities said.
CAMDEN, NJ — A Camden teen was charged with murder in connection with the slaying of another young city resident, authorities said Thursday.
Davante Trader, 18, was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses. He was apprehended Tuesday — about a month after officers found Tymere Wilcox on the ground after getting shot, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).
Police found Wilcox, 19, at about 10:45 p.m. July 11 on the 2400 block of Denfield Street, authorities said. Officials took the victim to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:10 a.m.

A fugitive task force of the U.S. Marshals Service took Trader into custody Tuesday in Camden. He was remanded to the Camden County Jail, with a detention hearing for a future date at Superior Court in Camden.
