• Mosquito spraying scheduled Thursday night in 2 Warren County communities (wrnjradio.com) — If you live along Stillwater Road in Hardwick, expect mosquito spraying tonight, Thursday, Oct. 1, between 6:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., with Friday as a backup date. Warren County officials are targeting areas with West Nile–positive mosquito samples, and residents can check the county mosquito commission for more details or prevention tips.
• NWR and BES to Share Dr. Ketch as Superintendent, With $543k Combined Cost Savings Estimated Across Four Years (ridgeviewecho.com) — Hardwick residents who pay taxes to both North Warren Regional and Blairstown Elementary could see long-term savings under a new shared superintendent agreement. Dr. Patrick Ketch would split his time 60/40 between the two districts, with the plan projected to save more than $543,000 over four years if county and state officials approve it.
