84-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Hasbrouck Heights, Report Says
Woman was pronounced dead at the hospital Sunday night.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ - An 84-year-old borough woman was killed after she was hit by a car crossing the street Sunday evening, police said.
The woman’s name was not released. She had been crossing the 200 block of Wiliams Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. when she was struck, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri, Jr. told The Record.
The woman was pronounced dead at Hackensack University Medical Center about an hour later, the report said.

The 75-year-old driver did not receive any motor vehicle summonses or criminal charges, the report said.
The incident appears to be “a tragic accident,” Colaneri said in the report.
