A Pair of Hasbrouck Heights Dancers Praised for Their Performance in Dance Competition
Samantha Pankiw and Megan Rinke competed with dance troupe in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

It appears that Hasbrouck Heights can be considered the home of two future stars with their recent performance at a dance competition.
and , of Hasbrouck Heights, competed with 30 other members of the Performance Troupe of the Unique Performance Arts Center at the Dancers Inc. National Competition in Hershey, PA from July 7 to 12. The mission of Dancers Inc. is “is to provide the most personal and professional of services while creating a safe and constructive learning environment for your dance students.”
In a press release from the Unique Performance Arts Center praising both girls for earned a combined seven medals. Samantha earned first place for her solo dance to “It Doesn’t Hurt” and she defended her “Dancers Inc. Dancer of the Year for 2010 – 2011” this year.

“The kids did an awesome job,” said Lisa Batchelor owner of the Unique Performance Arts Center in West Orange.
Batchelor praised Liz Perez, the school choreographer, for working not just with Samantha Pankiw and Megan Rinke but the other students in the competition. “Liz has amazing imagination and energy, she is a force to be reckoned with, so be prepared for next year, there's no stopping her,” said Batchelor.

Batchelor further praised the girls and said she was excited about next year. “I am so proud of them,” said Batchelor.
