Amira Mor Gets Kathie Lee and Hoda to Belly Dance on Live TV

Belly dance instructor makes guest appearance on "Today" show

may get to teach belly dancing several times a month at her studio in Hasbrouck Heights but it isn’t every day she gets to do it on live national television with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda.

Earlier this month, Amira Mor showed the “Today” hosts how to shake their hips from side to side, make a figure-eight with their hips and practice “snake arms” during a segment of the show.

Mor said she enjoyed every second of the TV shoot. “Everyone was so generous and friendly,” she said adding that Kathie Lee and Hoda were nice to work with on camera and behind the scenes.

“They were truly naturally nice and happy ladies,” Mor said.

Mor, of Fort Lee, has been dancing her entire life and has trained in jazz and ballet but belly dancing has always been her most favorite. She is also an instructor at the Broadway Dance Center in New York.
