HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — Members of the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department recently assisted animal control officers in Teterboro with the rescue of a group of ducklings trapped inside a storm drain.
The incident happened on June 13. Firefighters successfully removed the ducklings from the drain.
The fire department released a number of photos after the incident.
The successful rescue highlights the ongoing partnership between first responders and animal control in responding to calls involving both public safety and animal welfare.
