Little Ferry Serves Up 4 Tasty Weekend Stops

From afternoon tea to late-night burgers, four Little Ferry restaurants offer something different Friday through Sunday.

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — If the weekend question is "Where should we eat?" Little Ferry has answers for nearly every appetite.

For brunch, pasta and freshly baked treats, Cafe Hesed at 260 Bergen Turnpike is open from morning through late evening. The cafe, whose cheerful motto is "Hesed is love!", also offers afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, warm scones, sweets and fresh tea. Reservations and package details are available by phone.

Dinner can take a Spanish turn at Segovia Steakhouse & Seafood, 217 Main Street. The restaurant serves steaks, seafood and Spanish-inspired dishes prepared to order, along with what it calls its "secret recipe sangria." It is open from noon to 10 p.m. throughout the weekend.

Palermo's Cafe & Bakery at 399 Liberty Street handles the casual cravings with brick-oven pizza, paninis, sandwiches and gourmet desserts. Outdoor seating is available for diners hoping to catch the last flavors of summer.

Night owls can finish at Whiskey Roads Sports Bar, 152 Washington Avenue, where wings, burgers, pizza and quesadillas fill the menu. The kitchen stays open until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday before switching to a late-night menu.
