• Ex-Cop Arrested For Shooting Paintballs At Cars In 5 Bergen County Towns: Prosecutor (patch.com) — Hasbrouck Heights drivers were among those targeted in a string of paintball shootings across five Bergen County towns this month, with several cars hit and one woman struck in the head. Prosecutors say a former Garfield police sergeant has now been arrested and charged in connection with nine incidents, including multiple attacks on vehicles in Hasbrouck Heights.
   

• Bronx men arrested in Saddle Brook armed robbery case (nj.com subscription) — An armed robbery outside a Saddle Brook business in June has led to charges against two Bronx men, after a multi-agency investigation that included the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department. Authorities say the suspects allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint, fled in a white Acura, and were later arrested in the Bronx, where they await extradition to Bergen County.
