HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — Hasbrouck Heights residents have a new date to mark down for Town Day after weather caused a change in plans.
The borough announced that the event was postponed because of a storm predicted for its original weekend. Town Day is now scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Woodland Park.
Sponsored by the Hasbrouck Heights Recreation Department, the event will include live music, DJ music and games, inflatable rides, free giveaways, food and drinks while supplies last.
Residents can also purchase tickets for Halloween In The Park during Town Day. As Patch previously reported, the Oct. 20 event will feature wagon trips at Woodland Park, with earlier time slots recommended for younger children.
Community organizations will also offer information and handouts for residents throughout the afternoon.
If weather is a concern, residents can call the Recreation Department at 201-288-4143 after 9 a.m. for updates.
