LITTLE FERRY, NJ — Before leaving home to vote in the general election, take a look at your sample ballot to see where to go to cast your vote.
The New Jersey Division of Elections says sample ballots mailed by counties contain voters' assigned polling place information.
Don't have your sample ballot handy? Another option to find your voting location is to visit the state's Election Day Polling Place Locations page and use the online polling place search tool.
The Division of Elections notes that counties provide the information and that listings are being updated.
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters with questions can contact the Division of Elections at 1-877-NJ-VOTER (1-877-658-6837).
One more thing to remember: Mail-in ballots cannot be returned to Election Day polling places.
The state directs voters to authorized ballot drop boxes or their county Board of Elections office for in-person returns.
