The Hasbrouck Heights boys basketball team stayed with Dumont for most of the game on Monday, but could not prevail in the first round of the Bergen Invitational Tournament.
The Aviators fell 66-50 to the Huskies. Hasbrouck Heights takes on Mahwah on Feb. 18 at Bergenfield High School at 1:30 p.m. in the other game of the tournament.
The Aviators traveled to Saddle Brook on Friday. Heights found out where they are starting the state playoffs with a first round game at Waldwick on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. If the ninth seeded Aviators defeat the eighth-seeded Warriors, it would be another contest with neighborhood rival Wood-Ridge, the top seed, on Feb. 29.
