Hasbrouck Heights Man Tried Flushing Suspected Heroin Down Toilet: Police
Detectives saw Neil Vyas, 29, near the McDonald's on Route 17 South Friday, The Record reported.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – A borough man has been accused of trying to flush suspected heroin down a toilet at McDonald’s Friday, police said.
Detectives were conducting a narcotics investigation approached Neil Vyas, 29, near the McDonald’s on Route 17 South Friday afternoon, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri Jr., told The Record.
Vyas allegedly ran into the McDonald’s bathroom and tried to flush drugs down the toilet, the report said.

Police said they seized 192 bags of suspected heroin, according to the report.
Vyas was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and other offenses, police said in the report.
