I Remember..

I remember Ann's coffee shop. Spindlers and Pflanders Bakery were across the street from each other. If I'm not mistaken Food town was where" Carol's Fashions" was.

I remember Rhodes Candy store on Terrace Avenue. Ice cream cones were only ten cents then.

We had a five and ten though, I don't recall exactly were it was. Where Rite-aid is was an A&P. Oh and I can't forget Benny's Market. The old Peoples Trust Bank. They say you can't go home again but Spindlers Bakery came back. Who knows what  business might return.

Hasbrouck Heights has grown, and changed over the years.  For one thing we have a beautiful new library. I remember the old Library two people couldn't walk down the same isle.

I don't remember where every store was located, but I remember that they did existed.
