The Junior Friends of the Hasbrouck Heights Library held their Third Annual Meeting on March 22, 2013. Over twenty five members and their guests attended this annual meeting and dinner where are previous year’s business was attended to and new ideas are developed. Last year the membership came up with many creative ideas that were implemented during the 2012 calendar year.
We started the 2013 Calendar year participating again in the Second Annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover on March 15 and 16 of March. The Juniors again sponsored the dinner for the volunteers and the continental breakfast for all the participants and their families. The event grew to 50 participants this year and again we wanted to thank Marie Joyce, the Children’s Librarian, for inviting us to join in the fun.
We wanted to thank Mills Bakery and Bensi Restaurant for their assistance. Junior members also participated in the Friends Biannual Chinese New Year
Celebration with two members being part of the day’s entertainment with the
Tibetan Youth Group dancers of Hasbrouck Heights.

All ideas are being considered but not finalized.
