Mr Fix it

Have you ever known somebody who is organized and does everything perfect? This is the case of my next post.

Tired of hearing me complain that my computer wasn't working right, "Mr. Fix It," better known as my brother-in-law, decided to find out what I had done wrong.  Notice, I said what I had done wrong.  I digress.

Well it wasn't my computer exactly; it was actually Microsoft Word which wasn't working right.

Looking down at my desk, he surveyed the top. He gave me a puzzled look. "Sheesh, how do you find anything on this desk?"

"I have a system," I replied. "Anyway, why does my desk bother you?  I'm the one who uses it and it suits me just fine!  Most people will agree that a messy desk is a sign of an orderly mind," I added.

He rolled his eyes. "You're lucky you're not married to me."

I started to mumble something, but decided to go no further. I wanted my Word program fixed.

He then went about checking that I had all the wires plugged in right. A few minutes later he emerged from under my desk and muttered. "You got the wires all mixed up!"

"Hey," I answered back, "have you looked at that space down there?" Mr. Fix It went about organizing and tying every wire together. He warned me to make sure they stayed that way. The man is such a perfectionist!  Having said that, he's my brother in law and I love him.

My computer?  It's working just fine and so is Word.
