Soap Operas Are Slowly Coming to an End

Soap operas have been staples in our lives since radio days, so I'm told, but they are slowly disappearing from views.

They allow us to dream of what our lives could be like.….well, most of the time, anyway.

They can, at times, be a bit unrealistic. For instance, who walks around dressed
to the nines all day long? It’s rare that you see any soap star in a pair of
jeans. Every hair is in place and their make- up is perfect.

If, somebody picked
out my clothes and did my hair and make- up every day. I’d be a lady of leisure.

Oh and let’s not forget every actress on a soap has her nails polished. I’ve never
seen a broken nail on any of them. Of course not; they never have their hands in
water! Therefore their nails never get soft.

I have yet to see anyone of them pick up a mop, broom, or even a vacuum. They all have
maids, or maybe Tinkerbelle comes in during the night and waves her magic wand
over their homes.

But on the other hand, I would never want their problems…. they can keep their murder and mayhem!

And one mor thing, before I get off my soap box… when a character dies on a soap and the
body isn’t found, you can bet they’ll come back.

On soaps, DEAD ISNT DEAD.
