Stop In The Name Of Courtesy!

There are times when I wish I were cop. Maybe then cars would stop when I or anyone else is trying to cross a street. What happened to Courtsey?

A while ago, Hasbrouck Heights instituted pedestrian walks, hoping to make it easier for some of us, who walk, to get to our destination.

Do cars stop for the poor person standing on the side walk. . .even in this heat? No, they continue on their way. I know I’ve stood there on my corner waiting patiently, or should I say, impatiently for a car to stop.

People, those are not train tracks in the middle of the street. I, for one, haven’t seen a train go across those tracks or heard a train whistle. Have a heart and stop when you see someone trying to cross the Boulevard.
