Do you speak Spanish? There's a Place For You!!

A couple of months ago my husband Ray started a Spanish Church - Misión Bautista Hispana de Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, out of our church - Bible Baptist Church. The goal of this church is to be able to serve the first, second and third Spanish speaking generations while sharing the message of God.

As a Latina woman it is important for me not to forget my language, my culture, where I came from - and at the same time pass it on to my children. Its wonderful to be able to come together with other families from similar backgrounds and learn about God, but also have time to fellowship and share stories and encourage one another.

I want to personally invite you, your family, friends, neighbors to come and join us - and I know what many of you may be thinking - “oh my Spanish is choppy”, “I can understand it, but I can’t speak it“, “I don’t know how to read Spanish” or maybe you are just looking to brush up on your Spanish from High School (we have a couple of those in our group)... come join us - we have a little bit of everything - our well-seasoned to those who want to learn Spanish and everything in between - that is what makes us special!

My husband Ray is the Pastor and I’m his wife Deborah and we look forward to meeting you. Our service times are the first and third Saturdays of every month at 6pm and beginning Wednesday, March 11th we’ll be starting a Spanish Bible Study class at 7pm. Our next service is Saturday, February 21. The service is usually an hour long - we sing songs and hear the message and afterwards for those who want to stick around a little longer, we hang out, talk and have coffee and desserts!

And don’t worry if you have kids - we have a place for them also...
