Euclid Students 'Got Character'
Euclid PTA brings Eric Herman, children's entertainer, to perform his musical and motivational program for students.
students started this week off with a special treat as children’s entertainer Eric Herman came to the school Monday morning to perform his musical and motivational program called “Got Character.”
The students seemed to really enjoy Herman’s show which included songs, jokes, even jumping up and down to a polka song. His show and his songs relate to children teaching them about important character traits.
He told the kids they can be anything they want to be when they grow up – they can be a knowledge, artistic or athletic person, or they can even be all three. He then performed his song “Video Game” which is from the point of a view of a person who has dreams of being in the circus but goes his whole life never reaching his goal because he spent all his time playing his video games.

The kids went wild when he brought out a super soaker as he sang the song “There’s a Monster in my House.” In this song he tells the tale of a boy who is afraid of the monster in his house. At the end of the song the kids learn that there was nothing to be afraid as the noise was just his father snoring.
“Sometimes the things you think are scary really aren’t once you face up to them,” Herman told the students.
