Hasbrouck Heights Opens Senior Center As Cooling Station During Heat Wave

Borough officials encourage residents who need a cool, air-conditioned place to escape the heat to take advantage of the cooling station.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ — The Hasbrouck Heights Senior Center will serve as a cooling station for borough residents seeking relief during the heat wave this week.

The center will remain open until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, and will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 2.

The facility will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
