Hasbrouck Heights Resident Charged With Drug Possession

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — A borough resident was arrested recently on drug possession charges in North Jersey, police said.

Bloomingdale Police Officer Sami Zeiden stopped a motor vehicle on Hamburg Turnpike for not having a front license plate, authorities said.

While speaking with the driver, Jorge Serrano, 27, of Bogota, Zeiden observed signs of marijuana use.

A search of the vehicle turned up paraphernalia and a small black canister containing marijuana on the passenger, Danial Agaibe, 26, of Hasbrouck Heights, police said; Serrano and Agaibe were arrested.

Agaibe was charged with CDS and paraphernalia possession. Serrano was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a summons for improper display of license plates, police said.
