Heights Lions Club Gifts Clock to Borough [VIDEO]
Official unveiling ceremony took place Saturday
Hasbrouck Heights now has a new historic clock tower which bears its name right outside Borough Hall thanks to the generosity of the Lions Club.
The 80-plus year old organization is known for its giving nature, fundraising for numerous organizations, presenting scholarships and giving back to the community.
Mayor Rose Heck and council members and others from the community joined the Lions Club on the front steps of Borough Hall Saturday afternoon fo officially mark the dedication and witness the unveiling of the clock tower.

"We do it because we take pride in our commuity and there's a philosophy that if you take care of your own little corner of the world it'll be a better world to live in," said Kevin Mullins, president of the Lions Club regarding why the club works to give back.
"We thank all the Lions Club members and absolutely recognize the great contributions you make, not only today, but throughout the years," said Mayor Rose Heck on behalf of the borough.
