Junior Football Players and Cheerleader Champions Awarded [PHOTOS]

Head coach of the Hasbrouck Heights Junior Football Raiders team Joe Fadden thanked all the parents for supporting their kids Tuesday night as the entire team and the cheerleaders were honored by the mayor and council.

"We had a great team this year," he told parents and the team mates.

The Raiders once again won the Meadowlands Football League championship for 2011. The team was 11-0 for the season.

Proud parents filled the council chambers eager to watch their son or daughter receive a certificate from the mayor and council. Fadden and the assistant coaches were also honored as well as Lisa Colaneri, cheerleading coach.

"You guys really worked hard and pulled through at every game," Colaneri told the cheerleaders.
