Students proudly showed off their artistic sides to their teachers and Principal Lesa Brinker along with their parents during the annual Lincoln School Arts Festival presented by the Lincoln PTA Thursday night.
The event celebrates the art the children do on their own time, Brinker said, adding that these works were not done in the classroom . Kids can make and show whatever they want. Some of the artworks displayed paintings, drawings, ceramic sculptures, models, jewelry and textiles.
The event is set up much like a art gallery showing with members of the Lincoln School PTA serving refreshments and parents and teachers observing the different artworks on display in the gym.
