Main Street Property Application Returns Before Little Ferry Zoning Board

LITTLE FERRY, NJ — A land-use application involving three properties on Main Street is returning to the Little Ferry Combined Planning/Zoning Board.

Cornerstone Equities LLC is the applicant for the properties at 26-34 Main Street, identified as Block 24, Lots 4, 5 and 6, according to a borough meeting notice.

The application was scheduled to be heard in August, but that meeting was canceled at the applicant’s request. The matter was carried to the board’s next scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 215-217 Liberty Street.

The borough’s September calendar also lists a Planning/Zoning Board meeting for Wednesday.

The notice identifies the application as 2025-09-09-Z-09 but does not explain what Cornerstone Equities wants to build or how the properties would be used. It also does not identify the zoning approvals or variances being requested.

Those details will determine how the proposal could affect Main Street and the surrounding neighborhood. The application spans multiple lots, giving residents a reason to watch for information about the project’s size, intended use, parking, traffic and relationship to nearby properties.
