Man Charged With DUI After NJ Transit Train Struck Truck In Hasbrouck Heights
Eastbound train struck a silver 2001 Toyota Tundra near Railroad Street, an NJ Transit spokeswoman said.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. — A man was accused of driving drunk after a NJ Transit train struck the pickup truck he was driving early Saturday morning, authorities said.
An eastbound train on the Pascack Valley line going to Hoboken struck a silver 2001 Toyota Tundra near Industrial Avenue and Railroad Street, said NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder.
The driver, 50-year-old Ediberto Rodriguez of Clifton was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and interference with transportation.

There were nine passengers and three crew members on the train, none of whom were injured, Snyder said. A bus took the passengers to Hoboken.
