Lauren Eickenberg is bringing new style to Salon Noveau in more ways than one.

Longtime stylists, who Salon Nouveau patrons already have a rapport with, are all still with the salon, Eickenberg said including Gina Callea, who has been there for the past 10 years and now serves as manager.
Eickenberg is not a hairstylist however she is nowhere near a stranger to the salon world. She practically grew up in her mother’s hair salon as a kid. Her mother was the ultiimate stylist, according to Callea who grew up with Eickenberg and fondly remembers how her mother just carried that beauty stylist allure around with her.

Eickenberg said she was probably the only 12-year-old with a full head of highlights as her mother would sometimes ask her if she wouldn’t mind sitting for a few hours so she could try out a new product on her hair.
Eickenberg has worked in graphic design, rebranding, marketing and event planning and she can utilize many of her skills in her new role as owner of the salon. She is currently designing a website for the salon.
“Once I got my heart set on it, I couldn’t stop,” Eickenberg said about taking over the salon once she got the opportunity to purchase it from the previous owner.
The fact that she is not a stylist gives her the opportunity to devote much of her time to customer service and catering to clients' needs. “Being an owner is a full-time job and I couldn’t imagine doing this and doing hair,” Eickenberg said.
The salon now carries the all-natural Aveeda product life exclusively, Eickenberg said in regards to some of the new things she’s already brought into the salon. Also her stylists continue to always keep up with the latest trends and she will be sure that they continuously get cutting-edge style training.
