Crash Involving 3 Vehicles and Utility Pole Results in DWI Arrest

Accident involved two moving vehicles, a utility pole and a parked vehicle

A motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles resulted in a DWI arrest Saturday, police said.

Frank Christie, a borough resident, was charged with DWI and reckless driving, Lt. Thomas Archer, head of the traffic bureau confirmed.

According to the report Christie’s vehicle was travelling north on Terrace and allegedly struck the vehicle  just ahead from the rear causing that vehicle to hit a utility pole. Archer said Christie’s vehicle kept going and then hit a parked car.

Hasbrouck Heights EMS was on the scene but reports say there were no injuries and all parties refused medical attention. PSE&G came out to the area to check the pole, Archer stated.
