New Walk-in Medical Facility to Serve Local Area

A new walk-in medical facility has opened in the area to provide patients treatment without the long waits associated with emergency rooms and overbooked primary care offices. A grand opening was held for the WellComeCare Center on Friday where local dignitaries from Garfield assisted in the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Garfield facility, which is located at 210 Passaic Street is open to the communities of Garfield, Hasbrouck Heights, Lodi and other surrounding communities.

The facility will meet the growing need for medical services in our area by offering comprehensive medical treatment 7-days a week including early morning and evening hours. The center officially opens to the public March 14.
