Police Arrest Two Males on Theft Charges for Allegedly Removing Stop Sign

Witnesses saw the males remove the sign from Passaic and Terrace avenues.

Two borough males were arrested on theft charges Tuesday night after police found them with a Stop sign they allegedly removed from Passaic and Terrace Avenue.

Captain Jack DeLorenzo of the said a motorist reported seeing two males removing the Stop sign.

 Wood-Ridge police officer who was in the area saw the males walking along Terrace Avenue in the direction of Wood-Ridge carrying the sign. The males then proceeded to drop the sign. Hasbrouck Heights police arrived at the scene and arrested the males – Winston Agee, 18 and Jesse Cowell, 21,  on theft charges, DeLorenzo said.
