The police department continues to be involved in the investigation into last week's ATM theft.
Early last week customers of the branch on the Boulevard reported money missing from their accounts and it is believed that the bank's ATM machine had been rigged sometime over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Det. Capt. John Delorenzo said that the ongoing investigation involves the Secret Service as well as the police department in Middletown, NJ which had reported a similar incident. "This is one of [Bank of America's] busiest ATMS and whoever is responsible knows what they are doing," he commented.
