Schools Gear Up to Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday
Read Across America program includes visits for children's authors and guest readers

Hasbrouck Heights' and elementary schools will celebrate the 108th birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss, with a full day of activities Friday, March 2 in honor of Read Across America day.
Kathy Guglielmo, media specialist at Lincoln School, was presented with a proclamation in honor of Read Across America day from the mayor and council Tuesday night.
Children's authors Doug Snelson and Jeff Czekaj will read to students at both schools Friday. Other guest readers include Mayor Rose Heck and former superintendent Joe Luongo and students from the high school.
