Still Time To 'Write For Profit' In Ridgewood

Longtime Bergen County resident and professional freelance writer M.T. Schwartzman will be offering his popular class "Writing for Profit" at the Ridgewood Community School starting next week. The five-week course offers practical advice for aspiring writers looking to sell their story ideas, and many students have sold their articles as a result of taking the class. Topics include how to write a query letter, choosing the right outlet, and the business aspects of writing. Sessions meet on Thursday nights from 7 to 9 at the Ridgewood Community School, March 10 to April 7. The cost is $75.
