Bergen County St. Patrick's Day Parade
Where/When: Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m.; Parade begins at the National Guard Armory, Washington Avenue, Teaneck and proceeds north up Washington Avenue into Main Street in Bergenfield.
Why Go: Bagpipes and marching bands!
Where/When: All American Ford, 520 River St., Hackensack; 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 12
Why Go: Meet and get a free autograph with Kurt Pelligrino, the american mixed martial artist. He is currently competing in the lightweight division of the UFC.

FLOW Follies
When/Where: Thursday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ramapo High School auditorium in Franklin Lakes. Additional performances will be held March 11-13.
Why Go: The annual variety show, "There's No Business Like FLOW Business," is written and performed by volunteer parents and educators to raise money for 50 scholarships -- 25 for Indian Hills High School seniors and 25 for Ramapo seniors. Since its inception 25 years ago, FLOW Follies has raised about $405,000 in scholarships for the Ramapo-Indian Hills Community.

Why Go: This is a musical look at the courage it takes to follow your dreams. Tick, Tick... Boom! is Jonathan Larson's autobiographical tale of a young composer on the brink of turning 30 and falling into oblivion. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city (Tick,), his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue (Tick...), yet Jon is still waiting on tables and trying to write the great American musical (Boom!). Show contains 14 songs, 10 characters, three actors, and a band.
