1. NJ Young Professionals Happy Hour

2. Kids Seasonal Scavenger Hunt

4. "Weird Al" Yankovic

Why Go: Now is the time to see this hysterical comedian and excellent entertainer in person. This parodist of the MTV era has carried the torch of musical humor for years.
Pricing: $39-$59 per ticket 

5. Bergen County History Day
Where/When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Zabriskie House in Wyckoff, The Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus, Schoolhouse Museum in Ridgewood, John Fell House in Allendale, Old Stone House in Ramsey, Van Allen House in Oakland, Hopper-Goetschius House in Upper Saddle River, Mahwah Museum in Mahwah
Why Go: Visit the eight historical homes and museums and explore the rich 18th & 19th Century history of Northwest Bergen County.
Pricing: Tickets cost $10 per person; children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased from the Schoolhouse Museum (201-652-7354), Abma's Farm Market in Wyckoff, or the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn and Tavern.

6. Kids' Craft: Let's Dance! Streamer
Where/When:
Saturday at 11 a.m.; Lakeshore Learning Center, 449 Essex St., Hackensack, 201-441-9214
Why Go: Now your kids can add flare to their dance routines with colorful streamers that are lots of fun to wave and whirl!

 7. 6th Annual Craft & Vendor Show
Where/When:
Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Skyline Lake Volunteer Fire Department, 67 Edgewood Roadm, Ringwood
Why Go: Find unique crafts as you browse this indoor and outdoor market and enjoy a special appearance by jazz group Lenape Road

8. 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event
Where/When:
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 1 Garden State Plaza, Paramus
Why Go: It’s a fun-filled event that allows children and their parents to view, climb on, and “touch” trucks in a safe, supervised environment. 
Pricing: Entry fee is $20 for a family of four in advance at www.thejlbc.org, or $25 at the gate ($5 for each additional person).

9. Lag B’omer Family Fun Festival
Where/When:
Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m.; Behind the Paramus Public Library, 116 E. Century Road, Paramus
Why Go: There will be tons of entertainment for the whole family including rock climbing, bungee trampoline, train rides, pony rides, a fun bouncer, carnival games, face painting, and a huge BBQ catered by Perfect Pita of Fair Lawn
Pricing: $10 per person includes unlimited rides & games. Food & drinks are extra.

10. Pitchapalooza
Where/When:

Why Go: It's American Idol for books, writers get one minute to pitch to a panel of publishing experts.
