Highland Park|Local Event
Community History Open Mic
Event Details
Come share the story of your and your family's journey from another country, another culture, to Highland Park! Come listen to your neighbors' stories! This will be a relaxed, friendly atmosphere designed for us to get to know each other and to record our stories into our town's archive for future generations.
In case you do not feel comfortable speaking directly at the event, please do send us your story in writing so we can share it for you. If you would like to remain anonymous, we can certainly accommodate you. For more information, please contact hc@hpboro.com
This program is supported by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, with funding from the State of New Jersey and the National Endowment for the Humanities
