$1.79M Contract Awarded To Improve Hillsborough Roads
This is part of the Hillsborough Township-wide road resurfacing and overlay program for 2025.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Smoother roadways are coming to Hillsborough.
The Township Committee approved a resolution awarding a contract for the "2025 Capital Roadway Paving Project" to Stilo Paving & Excavating in an amount not to exceed $1,790,302.77 at its April 22 meeting.
"This is my sixth year doing roads, and with the help of the engineering department,t we really made a focus on repairing the infrastructure of Hillsborough," said Committeeman Shawn Lipani. "Once again with our strategic planning of grouping roads together, putting them out as an area, we were able to get some very favorable bids at significantly less than our estimated budget... which allows us to extend our dollar to do other roads."

The Township received eight bids with the lowest bid from Stilo Paving & Excavating located in South Plainfield.
The contract includes the roadway resurfacing of the following roadways:
