1 Car Stolen, Multiple Burglarized, All Unlocked In Montgomery
"All of these thefts could have been prevented if residents take basic crime prevention measures such as locking parked cars," said police.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — One car was stolen and multiple cars were burglarized recently in Montgomery. The common denominator — they were all unlocked, police said.
On Friday between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m., cars were broken into on Brandywine Road, Tall Cedar Court, Concord Lane, Sleepy Hollow Lane, Whispering Lane and Fox Chase Lane, according to Montgomery Police.
All of the cars were unlocked and parked outside, said police.

The stolen items included a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, EZ Pass, cash, a laptop and Beats headphones, said police.
"All of these thefts could have been prevented if residents take basic crime prevention measures such as locking parked cars, removing valuables from the vehicles and reporting suspicious persons at the time they are observed," said police.
