1 Dead After Hit By Train At Somerset County Crossing
The person was found dead on the tracks about 500 feet from the train crossing on Monday morning.
MANVILLE, NJ — One person is dead after being hit by a train in Somerset County on Monday morning.
On Monday, Oct. 18 at 6:36 a.m., Manville police were called to the area west of the Norfolk Southern Railroad 13th Avenue crossing, said Manville Police Lt. Paul Meixner.
When police arrived they found the person dead on the tracks about 500 feet west of the crossing.

The incident is under investigation by the Manville Police Deparment. No other information is being released at this time.
