1 Teen Injured, 3 Cars Hit After Van Crosses Into Oncoming Traffic In Somerset County
Cleon Hudson, 40, of Peekskill, NY hit the teen's car head-on after illegally passing a car in Montgomery, said police.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — One teenager was injured and three cars were hit after police say a van crossed over the double yellow lines on a Montgomery roadway.
Just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, a white 2011 Chevrolet Cargo Van — driven by Cleon Hudson, 40, of Peekskill, New York — was going south on Route 601 approaching the Skillman curve.
Hudson illegally passed a vehicle over the double yellow line entering the northbound lane, said Montgomery Police Lt. Silvio Bet.

Hudson then crashed into a 2014 Toyota Rav 4, being driven by Yuriko Suzuki, 62, of Basking Ridge, and then crashed into another vehicle, a 2006 Honda Accord, bring driven by Justin Stanley, 39, of Bound Brook, said Bet.
Hudson's van then hit head-on, a 2008 MazdaCX, being driven by Trevor Adams, 19, of Raritan, said police.

Montgomery Police and Montgomery EMS went to the area of 857 Route 601 around 4:47 p.m. and found Adams had an arm injury. Montgomery EMS evaluated Adams but he refused further medical treatment.
Hudson was issued tickets for reckless driving, careless driving, improper passing, and failure to maintain a lane. Hudson is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.
