10 Charged After Driving Cars On Skateboard Park, Basketball Courts In Hillsborough

The blotter for February also included DWI and shoplifting arrests, incidents of porch pirates and criminal mischief, and more.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A group of 10 people were charged after police say they drove their vehicles on the basketball court and skateboard park at Ann Van Middlesworth Park.

On Feb. 3, Andrew Stuart, 21, of East Orange; (removed); (removed), of Piscataway; Michael Yeager, 21, of Somerset; Jordyn Synder, 22, of Washington; Kyle Valor, 19 ofEdison; Tyler Quigely, 19, of Spotswood; Eric Forte, 25, of Flanders;(removed); and (removed), were all charged with no parking vehicles outside designated areas (Township Ordinance) and operating in a reckless manner at the skateboard park (Township Ordinance).

Police said the 10 people drove their vehicles on the basketball court and skateboard park at Ann Van Middlesworth Park (570 Pleasant View Road).

They were served their summonses and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 1: A resident of Whitehall Court reported a package worth $21 was stolen off the front porch. The investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 1: A passerby reported a window was broken at 421 Route 206. It was unknown what shattered the window or who shattered it. The investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 3: A resident of Somerville reported his unlocked vehicle was entered while at Planet Fitness (256 Route 206). He reported his wallet containing credit cards was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 8: Sarah Raices, 28, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 10: A 33-year-old from Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting (Disorderly Persons) after taking $72 worth of items from Weis Markets (315 Rt. 206) without paying. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 15: Erin Grove, 34, of South Bound Brook, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brooks Blvd. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 15: Latosha Burns, 51, of Old Bridge, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 17: Efren Bernacet, 36, of Skillman, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 17: Melissa Villalobos, 26, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 19: Marco Toresco, 29, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 22: Chetan Patel was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Homestead Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 22: Residents on Tall Oak Lane reported the rear door of an abandoned unit was damaged at an unknown time and by an unknown actor. The investigation revealed the new owner caused the damage while beginning restoration.

On Feb. 23: Ricky Tate, 26, of Piscataway, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 23: Lisa Dallmeyer, 59, of Hillsborough, was charged with hindering (Disorderly Persons) while officers were investigating a hit and run motor vehicle accident. She
was served a summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 24: Miguel Ariasmelendez, 21, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Valley Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 26: Kennth Davis, 47, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Feb. 28: A resident on Tall Oak Lane reported a group of unknown juveniles poured syrup on her vehicle on several occasions. She reported no damage to the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
