10 DWI Arrests, Shoplifting, Mail Theft Reported In Hillsborough

The Hillsborough Police Department released its blotter for the month of August.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — DWI arrests, shoplifting, theft and more were reported in August in Hillsborough.

Hillsborough Police blotter for August:

On Aug. 1: Jamie Wallburg-Montano, 57, of Elizabeth, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brooks Blvd. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 3: Eswin Perez-Gomez, 21, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Updike Ave. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 4: A resident on Meadowbrook Drive reported receiving a package in the mail containing a computer. After delivery, he found the computer was charged to his credit card. Soon after, DoorDash drivers arrived at his house looking for the package, which he would not turn over. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 5: Saumya Mikhi, 20, of Belle Mead, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He also provided the officer with a fake name. Once identified, he was also charged with obstruction (disorderly persons), processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 6: Weis Market (315 Rt. 206) reported on July 1 a woman left the store with $36.67 worth of items without paying. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 6: Dina Newmark, 59, of Belle Mead, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Millstone River Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 7: Officers responded to a fight in progress at a landscaping company on Amwell Road. Once on scene, Eugene Stringer, 70, of Branchburg, and Elkaind Adames, 50, of Edison, were identified as the combatants. No injuries were reported and the fight started over a disagreement in pay.
They were advised how to sign complainants.

On Aug. 9: Mabel Nunez, 36, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Amwell Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 9: A Somerset resident reported her duffle bag was stolen while at a wedding on Amwell Road. She valued the bag and items inside at $900. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 12: Kathleen Malloy, 69, of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) after being identified in an investigation for shoplifting at Weis Markets (315 Rt. 206) on Aug. 6. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 12: Ryan Souto, 34, of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) after he was identified as the suspect in a shoplifting at Weis Markets (315 Rt. 206) on July 23. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 13: A resident of South Branch Road reported a watch worth $3,600 was stolen out of the mail sometime in May 2018. He stated he sent the watch to a company in Florida for repairs. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 14: Bhupinder Singh, 36, of Hicksville, NY, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on River Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 15: David Fonseca, 43, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 16: Ebony Bright, 46, of Somerset, was charged with two counts of shoplifting (disorderly persons) after being identified as a suspect in shoplifting incidents at the Weis Markets (315 Rt. 206) on Aug. 1 and Aug. 9. She was served with her charges and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 17: Tool Brothers Inc. reported multiple windows of houses under construction were shot out by a BB gun on Yeuzer Way. The damage was estimated at $880. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 17: A resident on Devonshire Road reported receiving an open birthday card in the mail. The victim was told the card should have contained $60 worth of gift cards. The victim reported the card was empty. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 17: Lawrence Trozzo, 73, of Hillsborough, and Ralph Delacruz, 60, of Hillsborough, were involved in a physical altercation over photographs being taken of yards and public sidewalks. They were advised on how to sign complaints in Hillsborough Township Municipal Court if they wished to do so.

On Aug. 20: Daniel Ianucci, 54, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Beekman Lane. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 20: A resident of Mission, TX reported buying a 2023 Cadillac Escalade from Coparts (2124 Camplain Rd) and never receiving it. He stated he hired a transport company to deliver the vehicle to him, however, was told the vehicle was delivered to a different address. The investigation is ongoing.

On Aug. 22: Cory Winston, 35, of Jackson, was arrested for hindering (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Route 206 after he gave an officer a fake name. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 22: Shawn Young, 29, of Hillsborough, was charged with disorderly conduct (township ordinance) after he was found intoxicated and acting belligerent in front of a residence on South Branch Road. He was served his summons and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 23: Brandon Pierson, 27, of Landing, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on River Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 26: Lawrence Trozzo, 73, of Hillsborough, was arrested for contempt of court (disorderly persons) when he violated a court order barring him from walking in front of his neighbor’s home. He was processed and lodged in Somerset County Jail.

On Aug. 27: Lawrence Trozzo, 73, of Hillsborough, was arrested for contempt of court (disorderly persons) after he was found measuring the distance from his home to his neighbor’s house. He was processed and lodged in Somerset County Jail.

On Aug. 29: Emmanuel Romulu, 41, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 29: Isaiah Concepcion, 26, of Trenton, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Aug. 31: Enrique Quintero Rosas, 40, of New Brunswick, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
