10 DWI Arrests, Theft Of Cooking Oil Reported In Hillsborough

Hillsborough Township Police release its blotter for the month of September.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — DWI arrests, theft, and stolen checks were reported in Hillsborough last month.

On Sept. 1: Officers saw a dirt bike driving at a high rate of speed on Camplain Road. The bike did not have a registration, and it fled when officers tried to stop it. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 2: A resident of Hillsborough reported she left her wallet at the Millenium Car Wash (876 Rt. 206) while her vehicle was cleaned. When she returned for the wallet, it was gone. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 4: Phin Kokkong, 58, of Somerville was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brooks Blvd. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 7: Robert Bowen, 67, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 8: Dean Francis, 39, of Middletown, NY was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 8: Tomasz Kacsar, 55, of Manville, was arrested and charged with theft (disorderly person) after he was seen taking a cooking oil container from the parking lot of Petrock’s Bar and Grill (419 Amwell Road). He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 10: Gaetano Izzo, 27, of Hillsborough, was arrested for eluding (disorderly person) after
fleeing a traffic stop with Hillsborough Police Officers on Auten Road. He was found a short time after on foot. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 13: A resident of Zion Road reported a bicycle was stolen from the end of their driveway. The bike was valued at $120. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 14: Willis Gray, 55, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Cpl. Langon Way. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 15: Piyush Sutaria, 42, of Belle Mead, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Township Line Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 20: Johnathan Burke, 40, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Treeman Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 20: A resident of Perrine Pike reported a check had been stolen from the mailbox in the past and cashed recently. The check was cashed for $2,636.56. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 22: Ceferino Davila, 66, of Kendall Park, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 25: Weiss Super Market reported a man entered the store and took $384.84 worth of baby formula without paying. The investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 28: Chakravar Akula, 28, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Service Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 28: Julio Delcid Arriaga, 42, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on New Centre Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 29: Javokhir Burkhonov, 25, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested and charged with tampering with public records (disorderly person) after it was found the Delaware registration on his vehicle, and the registration card he gave to officers were both fraudulent. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Sept. 29: Graffiti was found on the racquetball wall at the Amsterdam Soccer Fields (301 Amsterdam Road). There are no suspects currently and the investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 30: Darwin M. Gaitan-Guzman, 23, of Manville, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.

On Sept. 30: Ivan Zaskoka, 30, of Newton, was arrested for theft (disorderly person) after he took a bicycle from the rear of a business on Route 206. He was located with the bike in his vehicle, which was then returned. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Courtdate.
