10 Hillsborough Locals Arrested On Charges Including Drugs, DWI

5 Hillsborough locals were arrested for shoplifting, 1 for theft, 3 for marijuana possession and 1 for driving while intoxicated: Police

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A total of 10 Hillsborough locals were arrested on multiple charges including shoplifting, theft, marijuana possession and driving while intoxicated, according to the police blotter.

Hillsborough Police Blotter:

On Aug. 4: Michele Neri, 24, of Middlesex was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in her vehicle in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Rt 206. She was also issued summonses for having controlled dangerous substance (CDS) in a motor vehicle and careless driving. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 5: Jon E. Sulit, 32, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle in the parking lot of 315 Rt. 206. He was issued an additional summons for refusing the breathalyzer test. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 9: William Sporman Jr., 32, of Hillsborough was arrested for shoplifting from the Kohls Department Store located at 315 Rt. 206. He concealed items on his person valued at $87 and left the store without paying for them. He was also charged with possession of marijuana. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 10: Cole Hoffman, 25, of Hillsborough was arrested for shoplifting from the Weis Market located at 315 Rt. 206. He concealed various items of food valued at $28.55 and left the store without paying for them. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 13: Two 19-year-olds both of Hillsborough were arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in a vehicle on Capricorn Drive. Both were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 14: Alexandra Folkner, 20, and Jaqueline Santiago, 22, both of Hillsborough were arrested for shoplifting from the Kohls Department Store located at 315 Rt. 206. They concealed clothing valued at $13.99 and left the store without paying. Both were processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 16: Aaron Dooley, 34, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Dewitt Lane. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 19: Austin Moyer, 21, of Easton, Pennsylvania was arrested for disorderly conduct during an investigation on Castle Hill Road for a reported disturbance. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 23: John Birmingham Jr, 38, of Hillsborough was arrested for theft after he was observed taking an item from a residence on Carriage Way. He was additionally charged with criminal mischief for damaging a surveillance camera. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 26: Mary Ann Nittolo, 73, of Hillsborough was arrested for shoplifting from Petrocks Liquors located at 419 Amwell Road on two occasions during the month of August. She concealed a bottle of alcohol valued at $64 on Aug. 9 and Aug. 23, and left the store without paying. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 28: Aruna Patel, 55, of Kendall Park was arrested for shoplifting from the Kohls Department Store located at 315 Rt. 206. She concealed clothing and jewelry valued at $392.97 and left the store without paying for it. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Aug. 30: James Holland, 47, of Irvington was arrested for hindering apprehension after he provided false information regarding his identity during a traffic stop on Rt. 206 and Raider Blvd. He was issued additional summonses for failing to display vehicle documents, failing to maintain vehicle lamps, failing to observe a traffic control device and for having an obstructed windshield. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
