11 Positive Coronavirus Cases At Montgomery Senior Home
Two more senior residents and 13 more staff members are also being tested or evaluated for having symptoms related to the coronavirus .
MONTGOMERY, NJ — One resident and 11 staff members at a senior living community in Montgomery have tested positive for the new coronavirus.
Vice President of Marketing for Stonebridge at Montgomery Julia Zauner confirmed the information and also said two more residents and 13 more staff members were also being tested or evaluated for having symptoms related to the coronavirus as of Wednesday.
Zauner noted the facility at 100 Hollinshead Spring Rd. in the Skillman section of the township is taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Residents are being quarantined and staff members who tested positive or are being investigated are required to stay home. Additionally the staff members must be symptom-free for multiple days before they will be allowed to return to work.

"I want to use caution since these numbers are very dynamic and change everyday or change within hours," Zauner said.
Zauner added the facility is also cutting back on community activities and is doing additional cleaning. Employees are also having their temperatures checked before they can come into work.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced 275 deaths and 3,088 new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday. This brings the state total to 47,437 and 1,504 deaths. Read more: NJ Coronavirus Updates: Here's What You Need To Know
As of Wednesday, Somerset County has 1,140 positive cases and 50 deaths.
