13 Hillsborough Nonprofits Awarded $9,760 Through Rewards Program

The 2024 grant recipients were presented with the ceremonial check on Tuesday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Thirteen local non-profit organizations were awarded almost $10,000 through the Hillsborough Rewards Program.

Representatives from the organizations were present at the Oct. 15 Township Committee meeting to accept the ceremonial check presented by Mayor Robert Britting, Jr., the Hillsborough Township Committee, and the Rewards Program Advisory Committee members.

"The Hillsborough Rewards Program is a great resource for our qualifying local organizations to obtain funding without any expense to our Township Taxpayers," said Mayor Robert Britting.

The total amount awarded was $9,760. Since the program's inception, over $100,000 in grants to community-based youth, seniors, and local non-profit organizations have been awarded.

  • Hillsborough Baseball League - $450
  • Hillsborough Memorial VFW Post 8371 - $1,100
  • Hillsborough Youth Lacrosse - $1,000
  • Boy Scout Troop 89 - $1,000
  • Feeding Hands - $700
  • Resolution Run/Project Graduation $1,000
