2 Arrested For Drunk Driving In Same Car, Same Night In Hillsborough: Blotter
Two Hillsborough locals were among four to be arrested for DWI recently in the township, police report.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A total of four people were arrested for DWI in Hillsborough recently including two township locals, police report.
Hillsborough Police Blotter:
On March 10: David Soltis, 31, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI after being stopped in his vehicle on Triangle Road. His blood alcohol content was found to be above the legal limit. He was also charged with speeding and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On March 18: Walter Escoboza, 26, of Somerset and Jessica Mingle, 26, of Manville were both arrested for DWI after being stopped in a vehicle on Duke's Parkway East. While Escoboza, the initial driver of the vehicle, was being given roadside Field Sobriety Tests by officer, Mingle climbed from the passenger seat into the driver's seat and drove off. She was quickly stopped by backup officers. Both persons' blood alcohol content was found to be above the legal limit. Escoboza was also charged with failute to stop for a stop sign. Both were processed and released pending court appearances.
On March 19: Blake Kruze, 43, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI after being stopped in his vehicle on Valinor Road. He was also charged with failure to maintain lane and refusal to submit to a breath test. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On March 21: Javon Harris, 29, of Hillsborough and Shamika Martin, 27, of Plainfield were both arrested for shoplifting at the Petrock's Liquor Store on Amwell Road on Feb. 21. Both concealed bottles of tequila on their person and exited the store without paying for them. The value of the items was under $20 each. After a police investigation, both were identified and arrested. Harris was arrested on March 3 and was processed and released pending a court appearance. Martin was arrested on March 21 and was processed and lodged in Somerset County Jail.
