2 Hillsborough Locals Arrested For Heroin Possession
A drunk driver also took Raritan Police on a high speed chase through the borough and into Branchburg recently, police report.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two Hillsborough locals were arrested in Raritan on Sunday for heroin possession, police report.
On Dec. 10, Matthew Blanchard, 29, and Kyle Adams, 30, both of Hillsborough were both charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno and Sgt.Everett Holt investigated the incident.

On Dec. 5: Pirmin Lotscher, 38, of Switzerland, was seen by Officer Andrew Ragati driving a Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed on First Avenue. Pirmin then turned onto Route 202 and continued to drive as Ragati attempted to pull him over. Pirmin finally came to a stop in the parking lot of the Homewood Suites on Route 202 in Branchburg and was placed under arrest without further incident. Branchburg Police Officers assisted with the incident. Pirmin was arrested for driving while intoxicated following the brief pursuit.
On Dec. 7: A 61-year-old Raritan man was charged with simple assault following a domestic violence incident at his residence. It was determined that the man had punched a family member in the face. The man was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.

On Dec. 9: Alaakhir Esaw, 23, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous
substance and driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 28. Officer Andrew
Ragati investigated the incident.
On Dec. 10: Scott Parker, 18, of Raritan was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia
following a motor vehicle stop on Victoria Street. Officer Joseph Nepomuceno investigated the incident.
