2 Hillsborough Locals Busted On Drug Possession: Blotter
A Raritan teen was also arrested and charged after he threatened his parents with a knife and pellet gun in a separate incident: blotter.

RARITAN, NJ — On April 16, Karnik Patel, 18, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Mill Street. Deval Patel, 21, of Hillsborough, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Christopher Wren investigated the incident.

On April 14: A 15-year-old Raritan juvenile was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Possession of a Weapon (Pellet Handgun), and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance as a result of an incident where he threatened his parents with a knife and pellet gun on March 23. Officer Kathleen Sausa and Detective Everett Holt investigated the incident.

On April 12: Scott Parker, 18, of Raritan, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous following a motor vehicle stop on Ashton Street. Officer Christopher Wren investigated the incident.
On April 14: Joanna Ditaranto, 32, of Bridgewater, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin and crack), possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Gaston Avenue. During the incident, Paul Mason, 29, of Raritan, was charged with hindering apprehension after fleeing into his residence during the traffic stop to avoid being arrested for numerous warrants. Sergeant Thomas Fisher investigated the incident.

On April 17: David Hacker, 37, of Somerville, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were dispatched to the area of Cut Ups Salon on Orlando Drive for a welfare check of a male stumbling around the parking lot. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated the incident.
